2pac Virtual Humans

Part of my role as the ECD of Digital Domain was to develop the Virtual Humans technology beyond feature film applications.  I re-applied the technology creating tailored presentations to the Michael Jackson family, the Sinatra estate and to Dr Dre. After several creative iterations for Dre from space fantasies, to virtual performers we landed on a live Tupac performance. As the project progressed into production I left Digital Domain and so did not follow up to finish nor am named on the Cannes submission. I do believe the Virtual Tupac would not have happened had I not been the ECD at Digital Domain who created the work and presented to Dre.
